It is making the user the most important and prioritizing the needs, preferences, and experiences of the user as the primary focus when creating products, services, or systems. In a user-centric approach, the user's perspective, goals, and feedback inform the design and development process and choices

Distinguishing Between UI and UX Design:

User Interface (UI) design and UX design are closely related but distinct disciplines within the field of digital product design.
